there’s a certain level of acceptance to the rebelliousness that’s being projected in this country today, and the system is using it to its benefit. most young people don’t understand their environment and the seriousness of the events taking place around them, and there are not enough elders who know what’s happening who stop and talk to the young people who are getting caught up and victimized. we have images on television, video, and film talking to us more than we talk to each other. the problem is there’s too many children who want to be adults, and too many adults who want to be children.
